June 10th may have seen rainy skies on Long Island, but spirits were bright at the 4th Annual Golf Outing & Poker Tournament hosted by The Milana Family Foundation. The day began with a delicious brunch spread at Fresh Meadow Country Club, and a bloody mary bar set up by Stephen Murphy of Murph’s Famous Bloody Mary Mix. Free PSA tests were ordered by Aaron Katz, MD of Winthrop/NYU Langone, and provided at no cost by OPKO Health/BioReference Labs, and guests were treated to Cryotherapy Sessions by Restore Wellness of Woodbury. Man Cave Health and our Men’s Health Month initiatives were the stars of the day.
With a noon shotgun, golfers were able to get in 9 holes before the course became saturated and we turned our attention to a good-natured round of beer pong on the porch. The MFF crowd came to party and none were disappointed!
A surprise visit by Donald Trump impersonator Bob DiBuono opened the dinner hour amid lots of laughter, and both our silent and live auctions were a great success. The poker tournament rounded out the evening, and left all of our guests looking forward to next year’s event.
